Farmakoekonomi Bağlamında Akılcı İlaç Kullanımı: Youtube Videoları Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Ekonomik kaynakların etkili ve verimli kullanılması ülkeler açısından oldukça önemlidir. Özellikle sağlık alanında yapılan yatırımlar, kullanılan sarf malzemeler ve ilaç gibi unsurların kullanımı giderek artmaktadır. İlaç kullanımı hem insan sağlığı hem de ülke ekonomisi açısından önemi yadsınamaz bir gerçekliktir. Bu nedenle, akılcı ilaç kullanımı ilacın doğru zamanda, yeterli dozda ve en uygun maliyette kullanılması olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Dolayısıyla ilaç harcamaları, sağlık harcamaları içerisinde önemli bir paya sahip olup, farmakoekonomik değerlendirmelerin yapılması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, YouTube’da paylaşılan akılcı ilaç kullanımı ile ilgili en çok görüntülenen 50 video incelenmiş, verilerin frekans analizinde SPSS 24,0 paket programı kullanılmış ve videoların “HON Kriterlerine” göre değerlendirmeleri yapılmıştır. Veriler incelendiğinde, akılcı ilaç kullanımına yönelik videoların HON Kriterlerinin tamamını karşılamadığı, videoların çoğunluğunun güncel olmadığı ve profesyonelce hazırlanmamasından dolayı izlenme sayılarının düşük olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Effective and efficient use of economic resources is very important for countries. Investments made especially in the field of health, the use of consumables and the use of drugs are also increasing. The importance of drug use in terms of both human health and the economy of the country is an undeniable reality. For this reason, rational drug use is defined as using the drug at the right time, in sufficient dosage and at the most affordable cost. Therefore, pharmaceutical expenditures have an important share in health expenditures and pharmacoeconomic evaluations should be made. In this study, the most viewed 50 videos from the videos about rational drug use shared on YouTube were analyzed, the SPSS 24.0 package program was used in the frequency analysis of the data and the videos were evaluated according to the “HON Principles”. When the data were analyzed, it was concluded that the videos for rational drug use did not meet all of the HON Criteria, the majority of the videos were not up-to-date and the number of views was low because they were not professionally prepared.
