Traditional fruit dishes are one of the attraction elements of destinations. These dishes should be
presented to visitors as a gastronomic product. However, in order to benefit from these dishes,
visitors must be able to access mentioned dishes. Restaurant menus, on the other hand, are a tool
that delivers these products to visitors. In this study, it is aimed to examine the status of local fruit
dishes belonging to the cuisine of Gaziantep Province in restaurant menus. The menus of 9
restaurant establishments operating in Gaziantep Province were analyzed by content analysis
method. It was determined that fruit dishes are mostly not included in restaurant menus. In
addition, it has been concluded that only four of the fruit dishes are on the menus and the others
are not on the menus
